Will You Accept This Rose Mar 1 Written By Ryan Gambel It’s that time of year where the Bachelor is handing out his final rose! Of course, like all bachelor fans I wanted to have a final rose party! For this party I did a flower and rosé theme. The decor is easy, affordable and definitely makes a statement! For every bachelor viewing, it’s important to have something to snack on as you watch the drama unfold. For me I love a snack that’s both salty and sweet. I decided to go with a popcorn bar. I started with popcorn as my base and provided toppings that will satisfy everyone’s cravings. I used sprinkles, salted peanuts, pink chocolate, and chocolate caramels as my toppings. I separated each topping into small bowls and provided empty bowls for my friends to create their own popcorn mix!! For the first commercial, take a break from the drama and use this moment for a photo opp! PS your popcorn mixture is the perfect prop! I created a cute floral back drop as a photo opp for my friends to tie the party together. I made a banner by using stencils, construction paper and cute yarn. I then bought flowers from my go to store, Trader Joe’s and taped them to the wall using scotch tape. This is a fast and easy way to make a statement that your guests will love. Plus, it’s great instagram content for their feed ; ) Personally I always buy an abundance of flowers, because who doesn’t love fresh flowers in their apartment?! With the extra flowers I decided to make ice cubes with florals in them as a subtle accent to the rosé drinks! First, fill your ice tray half way with water. Then cut the heads of the flowers off the stem and add them to to water. Put in your freezer and leave until frozen (about 3 hrs). Then add the rest of the water and put back in the freezer until you are ready to use! You can make these well in advance because once the flowers are frozen, they won’t die. Once ready for use, add the flower ice cubes to the rosé. Make sure to be mindful when choosing your flowers. Please make sure they’re edible, if you are going to use them in your drink. Otherwise these are perfect to fill up an ice bucket up with. After your drinks are made play this fun drinking with your girlfriends! P.s. maybe ignore the last line!! As the episode concludes to the rose ceremony, it’s a perfect time for a sweet snack. I bought cupcakes from Trader Joe’s and them topped them with Pilot Pete’s face and red roses. Lastly, I made cut out faces of Pilot Pete as another photo prop. These definitely were the highlight of the party and an over all fan favorite!!! Ryan Gambel
